KIRTCHERT PAKONEN DEVELOPMENT LIMITADA
  Rich Pakonen and Blaine Kirchert are the principals of the development partnership. The two real estate veterans are successful entrepreneurs in Minnesota who have established strong track records in the real estate community. Kirchert owns River Run Properties, a development company. That company has closed or is in the process of closing more than $130 million in development projects. Pakonen founded PAK Properties in 1994, an entrepreneurial real estate company that has reenergized downtown St. Paul, Minnesota with three successful redevelopment projects, including The Lowry, The Rossmor and the Produce Exchange Building.

CONSTRUCTION
  Tom Terry, head of Construc Tom, has been a resident of Costa Rica since 1992. A native of Nantucket Island, Terry later moved to California where he built custom homes and furniture. He fell in love with Costa Rica after sailing to the country with his wife. They worked on one of the first upscale developments in Playa del Coco. The project won a prestigious Costa Rican award for best contemporary residential development.

ZURCHER ARCHITECTS
The development team has partnered with Zurcher Arquitectos, a noted Costa Rican architecture firm led by Ronald Zurcher Gurdian. The architect is known for taking inspiration from nature, matching colors to tree bark and rooflines to turtle shapes, among other things. Zurcher has had a hand in many of the country's luxury homes and hotels, including the new Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. The architect is a modern art aficionado who is interested in the evolution of design.
